Birthday Party for HPD’s Bolo set for June 20

It’s time for a birthday party—and this one happens to be for community favorite, Hopkinsville Police Department Paw-trol Officer and rescue dog, Bolo.

It all takes place on Friday, June 20 at the Hopkinsville Dog Park, and Public Information Officer—and Bolo’s mom—Collette Marfil says humans and dogs alike are welcome to attend and wish Bolo a happy birthday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. That day. There will also be food and fun, with pet rescues on hand.

She says they’ll also be hosting the next Cook-Out With Cops event on July 9th, at Joe Mumford Park, and she invited everyone to come hang out and get to know the officers who call this community home.

Marfil also gave some quick summer advice—watch out for kids who are outside for the summer and could be playing closer to the road than they realize.
