New administrative budget officer joins City of Hopkinsville

The City of Hopkinsville announced Cory Alexander as the new administrative budget officer on Monday.

Alexander is a Hopkins County native, a graduate of Western Kentucky University and is bringing over 25 years of experience in city finance and accounting to his role. Alexander began working this week and, in his position, he is responsible for overseeing the city’s departmental budgeting and financial planning.

Chief Financial Officer Melissa Clayton says they are excited to welcome Alexander and his prior experience makes him a valuable addition to their team.
