Hopkinsville High School has a new golf coach, according to a press release from the Christian County Public Schools on Wednesday afternoon.
Stacy Crick will take over the Tigers’ program for the school’s final season.
Crick is a school counselor at Christian County High School and also is the Colonels’ golf coach.
“I am thrilled for the opportunity to lead the HHS Tigers this fall,” Crick said. “CCHS and HHS are often paired together in events, so in recent years I’ve had the chance to get to know the Tiger team – and they’ve gotten to know me. I recognized their talent and look forward to helping develop their skills and build strong character on and off the course.”
Crick played collegiate golf at both Belmont University and Brescia University. She previously served as assistant golf coach for the boys’ and girls’ teams at Christian County during the 2008-09 seasons. She was head girls’ golf coach at Hopkins County Central from 2012-14.
“We are very excited to work with Coach Crick,” Hopkinsville High School Athletic Director Jacob Ezell said in the release. “She will be a great addition to the HHS Tiger athletics program. She has done great things with the CCHS program and we are looking forward to the same success and leadership here at Hopkinsville.”
In addition, it was also announced that Natalie Riggs will join the coaching staff at both Hopkinsville and Christian County as an assistant coach.
