The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be conducting milling and paving operations starting this week on KY 181 in Muhlenberg County.
According to a news release, the work will take place along a section of Greenville Road in Muhlenberg County between Henry Lane and the Carter Creek Bridge. This is the area where crews have been replacing cross drains in preparation for new asphalt.
Milling work was set to start Wednesday, with paving to begin on Thursday—once paving begins, it expected to be completed within a week.
During paving, motorists should expect a one lane road with alternating traffic patterns controlled by flaggers.
