Local grand jury issues indictments for endangerment, robbery crimes

A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for wanton endangerment, robbery and assault-related crimes on Friday.

Twenty-one-year-old Joel Gallardo of Chesterfield, Virginia was arrested in Oak Grove on April 18 after he reportedly crashed his car into a home while under the influence. The home was occupied during the time of the wreck, but nobody inside was injured.

Gallardo was indicted on two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Fifty-three-year-old Anthony Johnson of Hopkinsville was arrested on April 16 after he reportedly cut a victim with a knife and stole from them. He was indicted for first-degree robbery and second-degree assault.

Twenty-year-old Madison Klar of Hopkinsville was arrested on April 19 after she reportedly shot a man in the leg during a domestic dispute. She was indicted for second-degree assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Thirty-year-old Juanye Jones of Hopkinsville was arrested on February 22 after he reportedly assaulted a victim in Oak Grove. He was indicted for first-degree strangulation, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree assault and intimidating a participant in the legal process.

Thirty-four-year-old Kyle Gibbs of Pembroke was indicted for second-degree burglary after he reportedly attempted to forcibly enter through the front home of a residence on March 13.
