Madisonville gearing up for 4th Fest and Praise in the Park in July

The City of Madisonville is ready to rock and roll for the Fourth of July, as their annual three-day music festival is set to kick off just in time for the holiday weekend.

4th Fest and Praise in the Park gets underway on July 4th itself, which is a Friday this year, and the live music goes all weekend, with gates opening at 3 p.m. at Madisonville City Park, and Lucy Vass with the City says there will be a huge lineup of artists that everyone can enjoy—and all of it is free to attend.

She gave a run down of the great artists and music groups set to perform—which can also be found on the City of Madisonville Facebook page or madisonvilleliving.com.

She says that there’s a whole lot of folks who attend all three nights of the event—and this year includes a big fireworks show following the concert on July 4—and she says that makes all the work worth it.

Along with the musical acts, there will be numerous merchandise vendors on hand, along with food trucks, a beer garden on Friday and Saturday for the adults, and activities for the whole family.
