Jennie Stuart Health and the Christian County Public Schools are partnering together to expand the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Early Learning Center.
According to a news release, this partnership will pave the way for more students to enroll as the Early Learning Center expands its services, hire more staff and offer more resources to meet the growing demand for early childhood education. More students will receive access to resources that will launch them properly into their academic career.
The Early Learning Center serves children ages 2-to-5, providing a safe and stable place where they can learn, grow, and develop skills that are needed to succeed in both school and life after it.
The expanded Early Learning Center is expected to open later this fall.
Jennie Stuart Health CEO Eric Lee says, “This partnership with the Early Learning Center is a natural extension of our commitment to improving health and well-being across our community. We’re excited to help give children in Christian County a solid foundation for lifelong learning and success.”
The funding provided by Jennie Stuart will provide for renovations of existing space, updates to the building, new bathrooms, new equipment and more.
