At least one person has been killed in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of the Eagle Way Bypass and Canton Pike Friday afternoon.
Officials were working to determine if there are more victims, with Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Payton Rogers telling WHOP that they can confirm at least one person was killed in the collision between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer.
Christian County Deputy Coroner Mark Claxton identified the victim as Otis Brison Jr. of Trigg County.
It happened at approximately 3:15 p.m. and at least one of the vehicles caught fire on impact.
Both the west and eastbound lines on 68-80 between the Canton Pike intersection and Cadiz Road intersection were closed for a considerable amount of time.
