For many students, summer break is right around the corner, but for those wanting to continue or start the academic grind, Hopkinsville Community College is inviting them to register for summer and fall semester classes.
HCC Advising Director Janice Jones recently appeared on WHOP to invite prospective students to Pathfinder Days set for Saturday and May 29 to register for classes. Along with registering for classes students can get help with financial aid and meet with an advisor.
On May 27 five-week and eight-week session classes start, and on July 1 another five-week session starts.
Students interested in registering do not to bring anything, but should come with an idea of what they want to study.
In the summer fewer classes are offered, but Jones says they will have general education courses that are required and there will be online options.
Saturday’s Pathfinder Day will be at the HCC Administration Building from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the Pathfinder Day set for May 29 will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
