A Fort Campbell woman is facing numerous charges following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Gate 7 Road on Sunday.
According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, a deputy was heading southbound in the area when they reportedly witnessed a vehicle rear-end another at the intersection at a high-rate of speed. The force of the crash sent the vehicle hit through multiple lanes of traffic and resulted in back pain to the driver.
Twenty-four-year-old Viktoria Broadwater of Fort Campbell was identified as the driver of the first vehicle that had driving recklessly, and she was reportedly significantly intoxicated. Broadwater allegedly admitted to consuming alcohol earlier in the day, and later registered a blood alcohol concentration of more than three times the legal limit.
She was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, first-offense DUI, reckless driving and several traffic violations.
