The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers’ tennis season came to a close on Monday afternoon at the Girls’ Region 2 Tennis Tournament at Henderson County High School.
Hopkinsville’s singles entries of Chiani Leek and Brooke Stewart both fell in the round of 16. Leek lost to Hopkins County Central’s Avery Adams 6-3, 6-1. Stewart lost to Webster County’s Sara Welshans 6-1, 6-2.
In doubles play, Hopkinsville’s Eliza Renshaw and Evelyn Bangart lost 6-2, 6-4 to Caldwell County’s Jayden Lamb and Paysen Menser in the round of 16.
