Clarksville Farmer’s Market opens for the season on Saturday

The Clarksville Downtown Farmer’s Market is officially open for the season on Saturday, just in time for Mother’s Day.

According to a news release, it all gets underway Saturday morning at 8 a.m. and will go until noon, with a focus on celebrating mothers with family-friendly activities, a Food Court with live music, food trucks and pony rides. Visitors will be able to peruse a strong line up of vendors, including 24 farmers, 75 artisan venders and 12 food and drink vendors.

The popular Sensory Station will return this season, supported by qualified organizations and designed to provide an environment for those experiencing sensory overload, offering activities such as bubbles, play-doh, kinetic sand, and more.

Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts says, “We are extremely proud of the Downtown Market, which has become an award-winning feature attraction of our outstanding Parks and Recreation Department, and the City of Clarksville, in Spring, Summer, and Fall. We invite everyone to come to Public Square on Saturdays and experience the unique flavor of our farmers market.”

The Clarksville Farmer’s Market will be open for the season from May 10 through October 4.
