University Heights Academy outscored visiting Dawson Springs 19-15 Tuesday night in a high school softball game.
Madison Williams drove in four runs for the Lady Blazers. Katherine Wood and Emily Dilday also had a pair of hits for the Lady Blazers (4-6).
The two teams combined for 23 walks, 17 hits and six errors in the game.
UHA took an 8-3 lead after one inning and both teams scored three runs in the second for an 11-6 Lady Blazers’ advantage.
Dawson Springs scored five runs in the top of the fourth to tie the game before the Lady Blazers scored in the bottom of the frame for a 13-12 advantage. UHA pushed its lead to 15-12 after five only to see the Lady Panthers score three times in the sixth to tie the game again.
In the bottom of the sixth, UHA scored four runs and then Katherine Wood struck out the side in the top of the seventh to preserve the win.
