On-ramp from US 41 to I-69 in Hopkins County to temporarily close Saturday for roadwork

The rehabilitation project along a part of Interstate 69 in Hopkins County is set to continue, as the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will temporarily close the southbound onramp for US 41 on Saturday.

According to a news release, grew will block the ramp starting early Saturday morning to allow for repairs to be made to a base failure that frequently causes potholes on the ramp. The close is expected to last until approximately 3 p.m.

This is part of an ongoing interstate rehabilitation project along a roughly five-mile section of I-69 in Madisonville. That work zone stretches from KY 70 to the Fowler Road overpass.
