The KHSAA draw for the 2025 Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Baseball State Tournament and Softball State Tournament was held Tuesday afternoon in Lexington.
In baseball, the tournament will get underway on June 5 at Kentucky Proud Park at the University of Kentucky. On the opening day, Region 3 will meet Region 7; Region 5 will take on Region 11; Region 12 plays Region 16; and Region 10 will take on Region 14.
On June 6, Region 2 will meet Region 1 in the first round. Lyon County, University Heights, Christian County, Caldwell County and Hopkinsville are among the favorites to win Region 2. Paducah Tilghman, McCracken County, and St. Mary are among the Region 1 favorites.
Region 4 will take on Region 9, Region 15 meets Region 8 and Region 6 will play Region 13 in the first round.
The quarterfinals are scheduled for June 7 with the semifinals set for June 13 and the championship June 14.
Times for the games will be determined at a later date.
For softball, the state tournament will begin June 5 at John Cropp Stadium at the University of Kentucky with Region 16 meeting Region 12; Region 11 against Region 6; Region 2 against Region 13; and Region 3 vs. Region 4.
Defending state champion Henderson County is the favorite to capture the Region 2 championship while Region 13 is the home to perennial state powers North Laurel and South Laurel.
On June 6, Region 9 will take on Region 10 followed by Region 7 vs. Region 8 and Region 5 against Region 14. The last game of the first round will feature Region 1 against Region 15.
The quarterfinals are scheduled for June 7 and the semifinals are June 13. The championship is set for June 14.
