Jessica Addison to serve as superintendent of Todd County Schools

After serving as the Assistant Superintendent of the Christian County Public School System since 2021, Jessica Addison is leaving the position to serve as the superintendent of the Todd County School District.

Addison is taking on the role currently held by Superintendent Mark Thomas, who is retiring in June. At Wednesday’s Todd County School Board meeting, members approved selecting Addison for the position.

Addison is a native of Todd County which is where she began her education career. In a news release, Addison called it an honor and blessing to work alongside the dedicated employees of CCPS and says she looks forward to working with the incredible staff, families and community members of Todd County.

July 1 marks the beginning of Addison’s term and to fill her vacancy, District Technology Director Jason Wilson was selected to serve as interim assistant superintendent, effective immediately.
