The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library is set to celebrate Nancy Drew’s 95th birthday with a mystery scavenger hunt.
Nancy Drew is a fictional character in a series of mystery books created by Edward Stratemeyer.
The library is inviting mystery lovers of all ages to participate in a free afternoon of crafting, snacking, investigating and the chance to win prizes. The Mystery at the Library event is scheduled for 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on April 26th and will be hosted at the library.
The event will include a scavenger hunt for the golden bookmark, an evidence journal decoration workshop, Jeopardy for those ages 16 and up, a photo booth for attendees to take mugshots and Nancy Drew inspired snacks.
HCCPL Executive Director Tiffany Luna says they can’t wait to host everyone for the event to celebrate their favorite genre, mystery.
