South Warren tops Max Preps Kentucky softball poll

There’s a new No. 1 in the Max Preps Kentucky High School Softball Poll this week.

South Warren moved up one spot to take over the top spot in the poll, released on Monday.

Bullitt East, Scott County, Greenwood, and North Laurel round out the top five.

Only one Region 2 team is ranked in the top 25. Henderson remains No. 14 this week.

Other Western Kentucky teams in the poll include McCracken County (No. 13), Marshall County (No. 16), and Warren East (No. 25).

In the Region 2 poll, Henderson County is No. 1, followed by Livingston Central, Christian County, Madisonville-North Hopkins, and Trigg County.
