Starting at 10 a.m. Monday morning, citizens who were impacted by historic flooding in Hopkinsville can pick up a bucket full of supplies at Lowe’s of Hopkinsville to help in the clean up efforts.
According to a news release, the Hopkinsville Lowe’s will hand out roughly 140 five-gallon buckets fill with supplies such as sponges, flashlights, bottled water, trash bags, goggles and hand sanitizer to help with clean up for those trying to get back to normal after over a foot of rain fell across western Kentucky.
These buckets and supplies will be free and associates will be handing them out for as long as supplies last.
Lowe’s area stores are all open and receiving regular shipments of additional supplies, including tarps, sump pumps, dehumidifiers, fans, chainsaws, rakes and trash cans.
