Christian County’s Lady Colonels archery team finished eighth in the Region 1 Archery Tournament Saturday at Trigg County High School.
The Lady Colonels were led by Alianna Bailey, who shot a 268. Bailey finished 40th in the tournament.
Other Lady Colonels competing in the regional tournament included Azlynn Doan (261), Dakeyiah Catlett (260), Caylin Berman (258), Arebelle Triplett (258), Karma Moore (257), Athena Jettinghoff (256), Raegan Harris (251), Savanna Peterson (250), Hadassah Elkins (248), Audrina Croney (246), and Natalia Filidei (212).
Henderson County won the team title with 1,943 points, followed by Webster County (1,933), and Madisonville-North Hopkins (1,917). Todd County Central was fourth with 1,904 points and Hopkinsville had 1,878 points.
In the boys’ tournament, Christian County finished 11th in the team standings with 1,854 points.
The Colonels were led by Cameran Aldridge, who shot a 276 and finished 40th overall.
Other Colonels competing included Dakari Harris (267), Jaxson Hall (266), Grayson Green (266), Brody Jackson (261), Tobias Webber (260), Caleb Luttrull (258), Josue Benitez (255), Lucas Pulley (252), Terrell Sharrod (249), Sam Norwine (239) and Braden Deluga (227).
Marshall County won the team title with 1,993 points, followed by Graves County (1,975), Madisonville-North Hopkins (1,953), Calloway County (1,953), and Todd County Central (1,948).
