A Hopkinsville man was injured in a single-vehicle crash on North Drive last Thursday.
According to the Hopkinsville Police Department report, investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by 67-year-old James Thomason of Hopkinsville had gone through the intersection of North Drive and Canton Street when he failed to navigate the curve that turn into Camilla Drive.
The vehicle continued straight off the road, striking a concrete culvert and a tree before heading through an earth embankment and striking another tree before finally coming to a stop.
Thomason told officers he had no memory of the wreck occurring, and he was transportation to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries to his back and arms.
