A pair of area high school players were named to the Boys’ All-Region 2 Basketball Tournament Team Tuesday night following the region title game in Madisonville.
Christian County’s Na’Darien Rowe and Hopkinsville’s James Bradley Jr., earned recognition to the team, selected by region coaches.
Henderson County and former Christian County coach Tyler Smitthhart was honored as Region 2 Coach of the Year and Dawson Springs’ Rex Blue was recognized for being the Region 2 Player of the Year.
Other members of the All-Region Tournament Team included Dawson’s Montgomery Johnston, Livingston Central’s Logan Wring, Lyon County’s Nolen Coffman and Isaac DeFew, Union County’s Taishawn Curry and Jaidyn Wilson, Madisonville’s Landen Smith, Kanyon Johnson, and Payton Smith, and Henderson County’s Cooper Davenport, Xavion Johnson, Elijah Suggs, and Amare Stewart.
