Wind Advisory to be in effect Wednesday

The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Wind Advisory to be in effect for the entire area from 8 a.m. Wednesday until Wednesday night.

Sustained winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour are likely with gusts of up to 50 miles per hour possible throughout the day, with even higher speeds possible with any thunderstorms the develop. The region is in a marginal risk for severe storms Wednesday. 

Gusty winds will blow around loose objects, and tree limbs could be blown, which might cause scattered outages.  Driving could become hazardous for high profiles vehicles.
