University Heights Academy scored 17 runs in the bottom of the second inning and went on to defeat visiting Dawson Springs 21-6 in a three-inning softball game on Monday.
Emily Dilday went 3-for-3 at the plate and Katherine Wood and Madison Williams each drove in three runs for the Lady Blazers.
Wood picked up the pitching win, allowing only one hit and no earned runs. She struck out five in the win.
UHA returns to action Thursday at home against Kenwood at 6 p.m.
