Hopkinsville Police arrested 40-year-old Leontonio Bowden of Hopkinsville after he reportedly assaulted a victim on Sunday.
According to a report, officers responded to a home on Younglove Street for an unknown problem. Law enforcement made contact with the victim who says during the prior night they got into an argument with Bowden that turned physical.
Bowden reportedly head butted the victim and choked them. Officers report that the victim had marks on their throat, a cut inside their lip and sustained abrasions to their shins. Bowden was charged with second-degree strangulation and fourth-degree assault.
