Kamron Snyder appeared in Christian Circuit Court on Monday where his trial was rescheduled to October following an attempt to mediate the case.
Snyder was arrested in February 2024 for the fatal shooting of 27-year-old Khailil Buckner at a residence on North McPherson Avenue. Snyder is represented by defense attorney Sean Pharr who says he’s preparing for trial after mediation ended without a resolution.
The original trial date was set for March 24, but Pharr says one of the witnesses, a medical examiner from Nashville, would be unable to attend. Commonwealth’s Attorney Maureen Leamy also told Circuit Judge Andrew Self that following the mediation there is more work that has to be done before the case goes to trial.
Self set the trial for the week of October 13. Snyder will reappear in court on August 6 for a pretrial conference.
