The Kentucky Agriculture Finance Corporation recently approved 17 agricultural loans totaling $2.4 million for projects across the state.

The loans were approved for beef, forage and grain producers to support the development of agriculture.

Recipients of the Agriculture Infrastructure Loan Program (AILP), which has a total of $250,000, include Caldwell and Christian counties. These loans will provide financial support to producers making capital expenditures for agricultural projects.

KAFC is also assisting new farmers with the Beginning Farmer Loan Program, which has one recipient in Logan County, receiving $30,000. This loan will fund farmers developing, expanding, or buying into farming operations.
