Hopkinsville Police arrested 63-year-old Leslie Emry of Hopkinsville on Monday after he reportedly broke into a store causing damages and stole cash.
According to a report, Happy Hour Vape Shop was broken into on March 3. The suspect smashed a glass window to enter, causing around $1,200 of damages, and then stole cash out the store.
Officers obtained a search warrant for Emry’s car and residence and reportedly discovered physical evidence connecting him to the break in. Security camera footage also reportedly showed Emry at the scene of the crime.
Emry is charged with third-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief.
