Hopkinsville Police Department Sergeant Jaritt Beasley was recognized recently for his efforts in January that saved a woman’s life.
According to HPD officials, Sgt. Beasley responded to calls of an unresponsive woman on January 19 and upon arrival, immediately began performing CPR on the victim. He performed CPR until EMS was able to arrive on scene and the victim regained a pulse.
Officials say Sgt. Beasley showed courage and a lack of hesitation which resulted in saving the life of a citizen, reflecting great credit upon himself and law enforcement as a whole.
