A man has been charged with assault following an investigation at Jennie Stuart Medical Center Sunday night.
According to a news release from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to Jennie Stuart from reports that a female victim had come in with multiple injuries that were the result of an assault that occurred at a residence in Christian County.
Investigation, including evidence collected at the scene, led to the arrest of 35-year-old Dimitri McClelland, who was taken into custody at a location on Greenville Road without incident.
He is charged with second-degree assault and second-degree strangulation.
