White Plains woman injured in Madisonville crash

A White Plains woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Madisonville Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Madisonville Police Department, a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Jacob Campbell of Madisonville was heading east on East Center Street around 5:15 p.m. approaching South Kentucky Avenue.  He reportedly had a red light but proceeded into the intersection.

That’s when his vehicle collided with another that was heading north on South Kentucky through the intersection, driven by 68-year-old Sherry Scott of White Plains.

Scott was transported to Baptist Health in Madisonville for treatment of injuries. No one in Campbell’s vehicle was injured.
