The Museum honors Edgar Cayce for Cayce Days!

The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County, Visit Hopkinsville, and Milkweed Health & Harmony Emporium will celebrate the work of psychic Edgar Cayce on Friday, March 21 through Sunday, March 23, 2025. Join us downtown for a weekend full of activities that center around Edgar Cayce’s roots in Christian County and the major impact he continues to make throughout the world.

Born in Christian County in 1877, Edgar Cayce displayed great gifts of clairvoyance that he used to help thousands of people overcome health and other problems. Widely known as the “Sleeping Prophet,” Cayce is credited at being an early force in holistic medicine and in the New Age movement. His lifetime work continues to provide healthy living goals, spiritual ideals, and life lessons today.

We are excited to welcome special presenters Jessica Newell and Mallory Key to our Cayce Days program this year. Jessica Newell is an archivist, historian and writer. She is the Director of the Edgar Cayce Foundation and the Library of the Association for Research and Enlightenment in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Since 2018, she has studied Edgar Cayce through his archive of over 14,000 readings and historic records. Her work brings to life the human stories behind the Cayce readings and explores how we can learn from them today.

Mallory Key is a professional astrologer accredited with the American Federation for Astrologers. Bringing more than 15 years experience, Key brings insight into the astral influences that affect our daily lives.

Learning sessions will be held on Friday and Saturday evenings and Saturday and Sunday mornings. Saturday afternoon will feature a variety of activities that connect Edgar Cayce’s story to his hometown. For a complete schedule, visit our website.
