The Bluegrass Youth Racing Foundation is inviting the community out to their pancake breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, to help support the upcoming 19th annual Hopkinsville Soap Box Derby.
It will take place from 7 a.m. until 12 p.m. at 2812 Fort Campbell Boulevard, and all money raised will support covering expenses for the 2025 derby, which is set to take place on May 3 at Ruff Park in Hopkinsville.
Tickets are $10 for all you can eat pancakes, sausage and a toppings car that brings with it chocolate chips, fruit toppings, whipped cream and different flavored syrups.
A Fun Day will be held March 22 at Ruff Park from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.—the event is open to all potential racers between the ages of seven to 20. They’ll get a chance to learn more and experience driving a derby car.
