The University Heights Academy Middle School track team participated in the KTCCCA Middle School Indoor State Championships over the weekend in Louisville.
Adilyn Owen was the state champion in the 9-10-year-old division in the 60-meter dash in a time of 9.48 seconds and state runner-up in the 200-meter dash in 34.64 seconds.
Meanwhile, the boys’ middle school 4×800-meter relay team finished third place. The team is made up of Ronan Croney-Sallie, Garrett Bowling, Scar Venable and Graham Conrad.

Other boys running for UHA included Lewis Conrad, Lucas Stine, Haydon Hayes, and Caleb Bowling.
The Blazers took home a 14th-place finish with nine points. They were 11th in the undefined team scores with four.
The Lady Blazers were ninth in the Girls undefined team scores with 18.
