Hopkinsville Police arrested 20-year-old Dejon Hardy of Fort Campbell after he unlawfully entered a residence and allegedly threatened the occupant on Sunday.
According to a report, officers were dispatched to a residence on Cavalcade Circle for a possible burglary in progress. At the scene, officers made contact with the victim and found that the inside of her home was destroyed.
The occupant says Hardy broke in through a window and damaged many of her personal belongings. The victim also told officers that Hardy reportedly threatened to ruin her life and harm her if she called for help.
Hardy was detained at the Fort Campbell Provost Marshal Office and during questioning he reportedly admitted to entering the victim’s residence. Hardy is charged with second-degree burglary and first-degree unlawful imprisonment.
