Local grand jury issues indictments for manslaughter, endangerment

A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for manslaughter and wanton endangerment on Friday.

Thirty-three-year-old Eiesha Whitlock of Hopkinsville was indicted for second-degree manslaughter and leaving an accident scene without rendering aid or assistance after she reportedly hit and killed 29-year-old Daquan Butler of Pembroke with her car in Pembroke on December 14, 2024.

Twenty-seven-year-old Stacey Williams of Hopkinsville was indicted for first-degree wanton endangerment and trafficking in marijuana after she reportedly left a toddler wandering the streets alone without socks or shoes on January 7.

Thirty-one-year-old Marcus Jones of Clarksville was arrested after he reportedly restrained two victims and led law enforcement on March 24, 2024. Jones is indicted for two counts of kidnapping, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, first-degree fleeing or evading police and two counts of tampering with physical evidence.

Fifty-seven-year-old Barbara Clark of Virginia was arrested after she reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit on December 22 while she possessed drugs. Clark is indicted for first-degree fleeing or evading police, second-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, ten counts of disregarding a stop sign and other lesser traffic offenses.

Fifty-seven-year-old Caleb Todd was arrested in September 2024 after he was found to be reportedly distributing child pornography. Todd was indicted for 50 counts of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor under 12 years of age and 50 counts of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor over 12 years of age.

Thirty-four-year-old Brittany Upton of Oak Grove was indicted for second-degree criminal abuse of a child under the age of 12 and second-degree attempted criminal abuse of a child under the age of 12 following an incident on January 6.
