Two Madisonville men have been charged in relation to an investigation into sex crimes against children.
According to the Madisonville Police Department, detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division began an investigation on February 12 into allegations against 40-year-old Matthew Orange of Madisonville. In the course of that investigation, detectives discovered that Orange had allegedly engaged in sexually explicit communications with a minor using an electronic device.
He allegedly also provided the minor with vaping products, exposed the minor to pornography and engaged in sexual intercourse with that same victim.
During this investigation, detectives learned that 75-year-old Donald Clayton of Madisonville had allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with a minor victim on at least four occasions, while being fully aware that victim was underage.
Orange was arrested and charged with third-degree sodomy, procuring a minor by electronic means, unlawful transaction with a minor, distribution of obscene matter to minors, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Clayton is charged with four counts of third-degree sodomy.
