A four-vehicle wreck at the intersection of West 7th Street and North Drive resulted in possible injuries on Wednesday.
According to a report, a car driven by Michael Nelson of Hopkinsville was heading west on West 7th Street while Brayden Greenwell of Hopkinsville was traveling north on North Drive. Nelson struck Greenwell as her car was passing through the intersection.
Nelson reportedly told first responders that he thought he had a green light, but Greenwell claimed otherwise and told officers that Nelson ran a red light leading to the collision.
Following the initial collision, Greenwell’s car was pushed into a car driven by Emily Campbell of Hopkinsville as she was stopped facing south on North Drive. As the result of the impact, Campbell’s car collided with the car behind her operated by Janet Creager of Kingsport.
