The Kentucky Secretary of State has announced that, to date, his office has removed over 250,000 dead voters from the state’s voter rolls.
According to a news release, as of the start of February, 250,362 deceased individuals have been removed from the voter rolls since Secretary Michael Adams took office—that brings the total number of removals since January of 2020 to 440,182.
In January, 3,045 voters were removed, including 2,100 deceased voters, 413 felony convicts, 388 who moved out of state, 83 duplicate registrations, 35 who were adjudged mentally incompetent, and 26 who voluntarily de-registered.
Meanwhile, voter registration continues to surge in the Commonwealth with 5,253 new voters in January.
