McGee invited to Milwaukee spring training camp

Former Hopkinsville High School pitcher Easton McGee has been invited to the Milwaukee Brewers’ training camp as a non-roster pitcher, according to a report from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The 6-foot-6 right-hander is among 10 pitching invitees hoping to make the Major League roster for the 2025 season.

McGee, who was coming off an elbow injury, pitched last season for the Nashville Sounds, the Brewers’ Triple-A affiliate. The former Tiger went 2-2 with a 7.03 ERA in 11 games. He made two starts, striking out 20 and walking three.

Milwaukee Brewers pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to the Maryvale complex in Phoenix today, and position players by Monday.
