Several Hopkinsville High School cross country runners have been honored as All-Area 1 by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The Tigers’ Tyson Cavinder earned Boys’ First-Team honors. Cavinder also was named to the Class 2-A Area 1 Team.
For the girls, Hopkinsville’s Lauren Mayes earned First Team All-Area 1 and was joined on the Class 2-A Girls’ All-Area Team by teammates Alexis Herrera-Lovato and Kayden Coats.
