The search for a new President for Murray State University is well underway, and the search committee has whittled it down to four finalists.
Those finalists are, according to a news release, Christian E. Hardigree, the Regional Chancellor at University of South Florida St. Petersburg, Ron K. Patterson, the President at Chadron State College, Diana L. Rogers-Adkinson, the Vice Chancellor for Academic and Students Affairs at Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and M. Chad Tindol, the Chief Administrative Officer at the University of Alabama.
These four are in the running to succeed Murray State President Dr. Bob Jackson, who is set to retire in June.
The finalists will make campus visits in the coming weeks to learn more about Murray State and the surrounding community, with details to come.
