Clarksville Police arrested 35-year-old Sofia Rodas and 40-year-old Reynaldo Salinas Cruz in connection to the murder of 23-year-old Katia Duenas Aguilar in 2024.
Aguilar was a Private First Class stationed at Fort Campbell and on May 18, 2024, she was discovered deceased in a residence on Tiny Town Road. Investigators determined that her death was a homicide.
Rodas was indicted for first-degree murder and tampering with evidence and Cruz, Aguilar’s husband, was indicted for tampering with evidence. At the time of the indictment, the pair were reportedly in custody for separate charges and were extradited to the Montgomery County Jail on Friday.
