Kamron Snyder appeared in Christian County Circuit Court on Wednesday where his defense attorney and the commonwealth’s attorney discussed organizing mediation ahead of his trial date.
Snyder was arrested in February 2024 for the fatal shooting of 27-year-old Khailil Buckner at a residence on North McPherson Avenue. Snyder is represented in court by Sean Pharr, but on Wednesday, attorney Olivia Adams stood in his place and told Judge Andrew Self that they are planning on arranging a mediation.
Commonwealth’s Attorney Maureen Leamy shared that former Kentucky Justice John Minton Jr. will be the mediator. A date for mediation has not yet been selected, but it will occur before Snyder’s March 24 trial date.
