Hopkinsville Police arrested 25-year-old Trey Boling of Hopkinsville after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit following an attempted welfare check on Friday.
According to a report, a witness contacted police advising that Boling was going to fight his friend and was having suicidal thoughts. Police located Boling at Loves Gas Station along Fort Campbell Boulevard and once he saw police he reportedly began to flee.
Boling fled north on Fort Campbell Boulevard and was reportedly swerving around other cars and reached speeds of around 100 MPH. Further down the boulevard, officers deployed a stop stick and Boling halted before hitting the stick.
Boling was charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment and third-degree terroristic threatening.
