This Friday, Planters Bank will host the 2025 SEED Summit at the James E. Bruce Convention Center, bringing a day of resources and information to local entrepreneurs and business professional.
This in-person event brings with a day of sessions and the opportunity for networking, education and inspiration. According to a news release, it all starts at 8 a.m. Friday, January 31 until about 3:30 p.m. and there’s a full line of guest speakers, including Chris Wooldridge with the Arther J. Bauernfeind College of Business, Sarah Whitaker, the owner of Williams Advertising, Talia Bateman, Professional Sales and Leadership Coach with South Western Consulting and Eric Coleman, the CEO of Eric D. Coleman Financial Group.
The sessions are designed to address the unique challengers faced by entrepreneurs at all stages, and attendees will also have the chance to participate in one-on-one consultations with marketing and finance experts.
There is a $25 registration fee—that fee is then donated to area United Way offices.
