The Round Table, Hopkinsville Community College’s literary journal, is now accepting submission for the 2025 edition of the journal.
According to a news release, submissions of original, unpublished fiction, nonfiction, creative nonfiction, poetry and artwork will be accepted until February 1. Submissions are open to HCC students, faculty, staff and their families, along with community members and students in the HCC service region.

Selected contributors to the journal will read from their work at the annual Round Table Readings and Literary Awards Ceremony to be held April 24 in HCC’s Round Table Literary Park. During the event, The Round Table journal will be unveiled, along with the announcement of the 2025 Round Table Literary Awards.
The literary journal is named for HCC’s Round Table Literary Park, and was founded by retired instructor Frances G. Thomas. He, along with a group of honor students, published the first Round Table journal in 1966.
