One flown following Casky Lane collision

A Clarksville man was flown to Nashville hospital following a crash on Casky Lane in Christian County Wednesday afternoon.

According to the report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle operated by 31-year-old Robert Cook of Clarksville was stopped on Casky Lane, waiting to turn left onto Bill Bryan Boulevard. That’s when he was rearended by a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Seth Perry of Greenville, and the force of the impact sent both vehicles approximately 60-feet from the point of the collision.

Cook was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and from there, was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of his injuries.

Perry refused medical attention at the scene. A witness reportedly told deputies that Perry had been traveling at a high rate of speed just before the collision—everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
