The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the identity of a man that died in a pedestrian and train accident in Earlington on Saturday.
According to a report from the sheriff’s office, the accident occurred at the CSX railroad near the 6,000 block of Hopkinsville Road and Clarence Woodis Road. The accident reportedly happened when an unidentified male was walking north on the railroad and was fatally struck by a train.
The sheriff’s office and the Hopkins County Coroner’s Office have yet to identify the victim and are asking for the public’s help.
The victim is described as a white male, between 20 to 25 years of age, has a medium build and brown medium length hair below ear length. He was also reportedly wearing black slip-on boots, blue jeans with black long johns underneath, a red t-shirt under a black Under Armour hoodie and might have been wearing a black or blue jacket.
