The Christian County High School wrestling team had three undefeated grapplers Saturday at the Bussey Dickeson Invitational at Wilson Central High School in Tennessee.
Anthony Velasco was undefeated at 113 pounds. Dane Miller at 144 and Deacon Harrison at 157 also were perfect on the day.
The Colonels finished fourth in the duals tournament as they won three of their four matches.
Christian County defeated Station Camp 52-24, Wayne County 56-23 and Seymour High School 49-30. The Colonels’ only loss came to Oakland 42-25.
Christian County’s dual record is now 6-2 on the season.
Other Colonel grapplers picking up wins on Saturday included Malachi James (106 pounds), Kevondre Young (126), Braylan Patla (132), Paul Abren (138), Bosa Ogbes (157), Tay Martinez (165), DeAsaian Harris (175), Isaiah Davidson (190) and Treshawn Crenshaw (Heavyweight).
The Colonels are scheduled to have a dual meet at home Thursday night against Calloway County.
